Complete Online Form

The injured party enters contact details and completes online payment. A parent or guardian can help the player complete this information when needed.

Injured Party Sends Referral Report

Send the scan referral report once approval has been received from the LGFA Injury Fund.

  • Injured party details
  • Presenting complaint / full clinical report
  • Clinical recommendations / what is required, such as MRI, X-ray or ultrasound

Dooctor Refers to Approved Scan Center

The approved scan centre contacts the injured party and arranges the appointment for the scan within 24-48 hours of receiving the referral.

Scan Results & Patient Follow-Up

  • Dooctor.ie receives results within 4 working days.
  • The physiotherapist and injured party will get a copy of the report.
  • If required, the doctor will contact the injured party with a referral letter and refer to a specialist.
Reminder: injured party must seek prior approval from the LGFA Injury Fund before going to the specialist.
