Men’s Health Week 2025: Shoulder to Shoulder – Connecting for Health
This Men’s Health Week (9–15 June 2025), the theme is “Shoulder to Shoulder – Connecting for Health”, encouraging men to prioritise their health by building meaningful connections and taking small but significant steps toward well-being.
At Dooctor.ie, we’re supporting this message by making healthcare more accessible, convenient, and stigma-free for men across Ireland. Whether it’s addressing mental health concerns, getting a simple blood test, or tackling long-ignored issues — now is the time to take action.
Why This Week Matters
Men are statistically less likely to engage in preventative healthcare and more likely to delay seeking medical support. Men’s Health Week 2025 is a reminder that looking after yourself isn’t a solo mission — it’s something we do together.
As part of this campaign, the HSE and the Men’s Health Forum in Ireland are hosting a free public webinar on Monday, 9 June at 12 noon, featuring sports personalities like Bernard Jackman and Michael Darragh Macauley, promoting the power of connection and conversation in men’s health.
You can also download the ‘Action Man’ manual, full of practical advice and easy steps to improve your health, from mhfi.org.
